POLICE REPORT

DATE/TIME/LOCATION OF INCIDENT:
Several reports were received by the non-emergency police call center between Saturday, 5th June 2021 and Monday, 7th June 2021 related to strange events over the weekend at Frysja.

DESCRIPTION:
Non-emergency call center forwarded calls from neighbors and citizens using the area around Frysja. Calls are recorded as witness statements attached to this report.
 
Calls indicated suspicious activity in the area related to an unknown vehicle late in the night in an area near the water where vehicles would not be permitted under normal circumstances. Vehicle headlights were observed standing for a period of time in this area before speeding away.

Additional calls were received indicating strange behavior observed in the wildlife in the area. Reportedly some of the birds were unable to swim or walk, and appeared to be "ill". Looking back over police reports, it seems there has been  a larger amount of incidents related to the area of Frysja this spring. 

ACTION(S) TAKEN:
Officers were dispatched to the area in question. Officers noted strange behavior in bird life who are known to reside in the area. Officers collected a suspicious footprint from the water's edge. Officers noted a small amount of blood on the same debris indicating a minor injury, not enough to indicate a serious injury. A blood sample was collected.

DISPOSITION/ CONCLUSION:
The case has been forwarded to the Bjørnholt station Environmental Crimes Unit for further specialized investigation as of Tuesday, 8th of June 2021.
