Suspect Profiles

The police have done some initial follow-up on the investigation and provided the ECU with the following suspects.

Suspect: Lars Lyngmo

Age/Gender: 46/male

Occupation: Teacher

Hair:None, Dark

Blood Type: A

Height: 183

 

The suspect uses the area around Frysja for running. The lap around the lake is very popular among joggers. He states that he uses it for interval training because there is a very steep hill that is part of the course. Because he has small kids he often runs at night after they have gone to bed. The suspect lives 10 km from the area so he takes his car and parks at various parking spaces around Frysja. He claims that he runs there once or twice a week, but would have used it more if had not been for the aggressive ducks and swans that often get in the way. The suspect has not seen anything suspicious there the last weeks except for some drunken teenagers that made some noise last Friday.

Suspect: Eirik Sanne Hardersen

Age/Gender: 35/male

Occupation: Teacher

Hair: Medium short, light

Blood Type: B

Height: 196

 

The suspect owns a car and lives relatively close to the lake. Suspect uses the lake for recreational purposes, either by driving his car there and spending time by the lake or as an bike trip and a stop after going around Maridalsvannet. He has been seen by other witnesses around the lake both in the daytime and evenings. In addition, the suspect has written a commentary in the local newspaper where he argues against the development of the lake to become a water resource due to the restrictions it would put on property development in the area.

At the time of the incident the suspect says he was busy working late at the school, leaving school around 10 p.m. and then staying home for the rest of the evening. He has not been near the lake for a couple of weeks and cannot recall seeing anything suspicious.

Suspect: Rolf Wiggo Sandnes

Age/Gender: 62/male

Occupation: Teacher

Hair: Short, dark blond

Blood Type: Unknown

Height: 184,5 cm

 

The suspect lives in the borough Østensjø in Oslo with his family and dog. He works in Oslo and has been seen in the area of the incident several times, driving there by car. Suspect claims to be a wildlife enthusiast and loves hiking, hunting and fishing, which is the reason he gives for often going to this area. He has also been observed both with a shotgun and rifle in the same area. Teknisk Museum is close by and as a science geek the location perfectly combines suspect's interests in wildlife and science.

Suspect: Monica Løberg

Age/Gender: 27/female

Occupation: Teacher

Hair: Medium long, dark blond

Blood Type: Unknown

Height: Unknown

 

The suspect lives relatively close to Frysja, 5 km away. The suspect claims to be an outdoor person and uses the area for multiple reasons--walking, running, to take a swim or feed the ducks. Suspect does not own a car but has a driver’s license. Her visits to the area have increased over the past year and especially in the last weeks.

Suspect: Erik Sesseng 

Age/Gender: 38/male 

Occupation: Teacher 

Hair: Short, brown 

Blood type: unknown 

Height: 181​

The suspect lives and works in Oslo. The suspects owns a car and often drives up to Frysja and Teknisk Museum, where he claims to visit the museum and use the recreational area around Frysja. The suspect has studied Environmental Engineering at NTNU (Trondheim). In the past he has been associated with some radical environmental groups. Suspect has made several attempts to get the industrial buildings in the area moved and to make Frysja a wildlife sanctuary. The suspect says he can’t recall what he was doing at the time of the incident.
